Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an ED/inpatient flex position requiring a valid CA RN license and Cerner experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting with flexibility to inpatient (IP) assignments
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
- Variable schedule including weekends
- No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN Case Management experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required
- At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in case management within the past 2 years required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
- At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year on the relevant unit required; a second reference within the past 2 years from a charge nurse, co-worker, or educator is also required
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- No RTO permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; any RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be changed once submitted
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- First-time travelers should check position details for eligibility
- Previous employment at this health system must be disclosed at the time of consideration and may require facility approval prior to assignment
