Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- 36-hour weekly work commitment
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating is required
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Med/Surg or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Orientation begins on Sundays and consists of online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
