Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Springfield, IL, requiring an active IL RN license and the ability to float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate facilities.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Day shift schedule: 4x8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- Floating is required 100% of the time — travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
Requirements
- Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
- All required professional licenses and certifications must be active and in hand
- BLS or equivalent certification required — AHA and Red Cross accepted; RQI AHA cards are not accepted
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Candidates must reside 50 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before being considered as a traveler
- Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO may be requested; anything beyond 5 days requires facility approval
