Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute rehab experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in California.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting, PT unit
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Acute rehab experience required
- Current CA PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required, AHA-issued and in hand at time of submission
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and address disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury
- Provides clinical supervision of PT assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
- Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
