Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a cath lab setting, with on-call responsibilities and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a 212-bed facility
- Assigned to the Cath Lab unit
- Procedures include diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, and right and left heart catheterization
- 4x10 day shift schedule, 7:00–17:30
- Weekends may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
- On-call required: weeknights 17:30–07:00 and weekends (Friday 17:30 through Monday 07:00)
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Float between all facilities within the state may be required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required (hard requirement)
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- RNs wear navy blue scrubs
- Free parking available on site
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted
- Former permanent employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may face assignment termination
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
