Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Circulator for an Operating Room position in Caldwell, ID, requiring at least 1 year of OR circulating experience and Da Vinci robotics skills.
Details
- Located in an Operating Room with 6 surgical suites
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures performed include ortho, neuro, spine, urology, general surgery, GYN, bariatrics, podiatry, endoscopy, and ECTs
- Da Vinci robotic surgery experience utilized in this role
- Equipment includes Stryker, Steris, Olympus, Zimmer, and Mizuho
- Documents in Meditech EMR
- Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Floating required between Main OR, Endoscopy, and Outpatient Surgery (2nd floor)
- Unit staffed with RNs, CSTs, OR Aides, and Anesthesia Techs
Requirements
- Active Idaho RN license or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience required
- At least 1 year of recent OR RN circulating experience required
- Experience in relevant service lines such as ortho, spine, urology, and/or general surgery required
- Da Vinci robotics experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Primary role is RN Circulator in the OR
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
