Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Located in a hospital-based Cath Lab and EP Lab setting
- Cath Lab handles diagnostic procedures, PCI, and is a Level 2 lab
- EP Lab procedures include device changeouts, upgrades, ICD, and pacemaker placements
- Additional procedures include vascular angiograms and simple IR procedures
- Patient population includes AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD
- Specialized equipment includes Impella, IABP, temporary pacemaker, Shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Schedule options: 4x9-hour shifts (36 hrs/wk) or 5x8-hour shifts (40 hrs/wk), Monday through Friday, with a 7:00am or 7:45am start time
- Call requirement: one night per week and every 4th weekend
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCI RCIS certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and must not exceed 7 days
- Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position — candidates outside Ohio should plan to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or may receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
- Parking options are available for purchase on-site through the hospital's campus parking system
