Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) position in Jacksonville, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds across two floors
- Rehabilitation nursing unit serving patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
- Patient ratio of 1:8
- Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- EHR: Cerner
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active FL or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency required
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide individualized rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from complex injuries and illnesses
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
