Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) position in Jacksonville, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience and night shift availability.

Details

Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds across two floors
Rehabilitation nursing unit serving patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
Patient ratio of 1:8
Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
EHR: Cerner
13-week contract

Requirements

Active FL or Compact RN license required
Current AHA BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency required
Strong verbal and written English communication skills required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide individualized rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from complex injuries and illnesses
Navy blue scrubs required
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
