Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with PICU and NICU experience for a day shift travel assignment at a children's hospital in Oregon.

Details

• Inpatient acute care hospital setting within a pediatric respiratory therapy department providing full-spectrum respiratory care services
• PICU and NICU patient populations
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• No on-call requirement
• Candidates may be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Epic EMR — experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RRT credential required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• PICU and NICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required for consideration
• Oregon (OR) RT license required if applicable
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration — charge nurse references are not acceptable
• COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks
• Former employees or previous travelers at this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Former employees of this facility who are considered must provide a reference from the OHSU manager who supervised them
