Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with PICU and NICU experience for a day shift travel assignment at a children's hospital in Oregon.
Details
- Inpatient acute care hospital setting within a pediatric respiratory therapy department providing full-spectrum respiratory care services
- PICU and NICU patient populations
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
- No on-call requirement
- Candidates may be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Epic EMR — experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RRT credential required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
- PICU and NICU experience required
- Epic charting experience required for consideration
- Oregon (OR) RT license required if applicable
- Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration — charge nurse references are not acceptable
- COVID vaccination proof required; no exemptions
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks
- Former employees or previous travelers at this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- Former employees of this facility who are considered must provide a reference from the OHSU manager who supervised them
