Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of Tele and IMC experience, Epic proficiency, and availability for night shifts.

Details

• Float Pool position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC units within a hospital setting
• Travelers will float between Med/Surg and IMC units as needed
• Patient population includes those with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma
• Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR used; recent experience is required

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience in a hospital setting required
• Minimum 2 years of IMC experience in a hospital setting required
• Recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a hospital setting required
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Flu shot required; 2-step PPD required — no exceptions

• Candidate must be comfortable floating between Med/Surg and IMC units
