Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 12-week night shift travel assignment at a long-term acute care hospital in Lima, OH.
Details
- Long-term acute care hospital setting in Lima, OH
- Respiratory therapy department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- NBRC RRT or CRT certification required
- Active Ohio RT license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, blood gas analysis, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and insertion of arterial lines
- Assists physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations
- Follows protocols approved by the medical staff and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services
- Candidates who have previously worked at a Kindred Hospital facility in a permanent or contract capacity should be prepared to disclose that history during consideration
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- RQI and RCIS certifications for BLS and ACLS are not accepted
