Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a NICU position requiring a NJ or compact RN license, at least 2 years of experience, and availability for night shifts every other weekend and holiday.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital NICU setting
• May also work in the Special Care Nursery (Level II) as needed
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
• Floating required within a network of 5 hospital locations based on staffing needs
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Experience attending deliveries preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required, no exemptions accepted
• Flu vaccination required, no exemptions accepted
• Two current professional references required for consideration
• Skills checklist specific to NICU required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after will not be accepted
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced local pay rate
