Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ER experience and a Maine or Compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Emergency Department setting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active ME or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of ER/Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Two professional references within the past year required, with at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse — peer references are not accepted
• Full SSN required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License required
• Flu vaccination required for clearance to start (medical exemptions only, subject to facility approval)

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a permanent address 100+ miles South/Southwest of Bangor, ME to be eligible — candidates residing 100+ miles North are considered on a case-by-case basis with AVP and VP of Nursing approval
• No previous permanent employment at any Northern Light Health Hospital
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Manager interviews are required for this position
