Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Bentonville, AR, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and mandatory on-call availability.

Details

• Day shift position, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
• Mandatory call is required and can vary from 10–15 days per month, including weekends and holidays
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AR RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Valid US driver's license required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Administers moderate sedation per provider orders and closely monitors vital signs, hemodynamic data, and sedation levels
• May be required to prep and recover patients as needed
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes in condition to the appropriate care team members
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Monitors and operates medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, monitors) as required for patient care and safety
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
