Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2-3 years of recent experience, including GI procedures, C-arm use in the OR, and portable X-ray, for an evening shift position at a Level I Trauma facility.
Details
- Acute care hospital radiology department
- Procedures include GI procedures, general X-ray, C-arm use within the OR, and portable X-ray
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Equipment and software includes Siemens, GE OEC, Ziehm, Shimadzu, and Philips PACS
- Epic EMR experience required
- 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with call responsibilities
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of recent Radiology Technologist experience
- Active FL CRT and ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required through AHA
- Proficiency with GI procedures, general X-ray, C-arm use in the OR, and portable X-ray
- Experience with one or more of the following: Siemens, GE OEC, Ziehm, Shimadzu, or Philips PACS
- Epic EMR experience required
- FL or compact RN license required if applicable
Additional Information
- This is a smoke-free facility
- Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered for this position
- Proof of vaccination status is required — declinations are not accepted
- Candidates must pass a Basic Arrhythmia/dysrhythmia assessment prior to starting; a re-take opportunity is available within 24 hours if needed
- A study guide and tips to help prepare for the arrhythmia assessment are available through the facility's online orientation portal
