Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week LTC/SNF travel assignment requiring a MN RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 43 beds across a 2-story facility
• Patient population is primarily dementia residents
• Night shift schedule: 1800–0630
• Shifts are primarily 8-hour with flexibility for 12-hour shifts
• Schedule alternates between 44 hours one week and 36 hours the next, totaling 80 hours per pay period
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• EMR: MatrixCare / paper flowsheet

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted
• Active BLS certification required — pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; no exceptions
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to a primarily dementia-based LTC/SNF patient population
• LPNs may also be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are accepted but are subject to a local pay rate
• 13-week assignment
