Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down / Intermediate Care position in Wisconsin, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience, telemetry skills, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Step Down / Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes telemetry monitoring and post-surgical recovery
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Every other holiday (EOH) rotation with staff
• May be required to float within skill set to other units on-site or to facilities within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Surgical patient recovery experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License, two professional references, and DOB required for consideration
