Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and night shift availability

Details

• Emergency Department setting at a hospital in Milwaukee, WI
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Epic EMR used
• Floating may be required within skill set, either onsite or to sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale
• MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years
• Minimum 3 years of ED experience required; candidates without travel experience must have 5+ years in a large ED
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred unless candidate has 5+ years of large ED experience
• Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration
• 2 professional references required
• Copy of Driver's License required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• All travelers must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address — international addresses are not accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
