Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care, Level II Trauma hospital, with on-call responsibilities and a 4x10 day shift schedule.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting with a Level II Trauma designation and 360 staffed beds
  • Interventional Radiology unit
  • Daily caseload of 8–12 cases
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • On-call required, averaging approximately 7–10 days per month
  • STEMI Call team participation required, with a 30-minute response time upon activation
  • Weekend call required, 1 full weekend per month
  • No floating to other units required
  • Charting in Cerner and McKesson

Requirements

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Maryland state license required if applicable
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
  • Must be a non-tobacco and non-nicotine user in all forms (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) — nicotine/cotinine testing is conducted

Additional Information

  • Block scheduling is not available for this position
  • Scrubs are provided by the facility
  • Parking is available at no cost to staff using a badge-access garage
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply
  • Candidates who test positive for nicotine or cotinine will be disqualified from the position
