Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting in Vail, Colorado
• OR Circulator role within the operating room department
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or valid compact state license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience required
• CAPS (Colorado Advantage Program for Students) registration may be required — can take up to two weeks to obtain; candidates should apply promptly

• Responsible for providing expert, compassionate, and individualized nursing care for surgical patients and their families
• Collaborates with surgeons, providers, and the broader care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Oversees daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction
• Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists with procedures in adherence to patient safety guidelines
• Coordinates patient care with other physician practices and health system partners as needed
• Must demonstrate competent clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• HIPAA compliance is required
