Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position requiring PCU float experience, nights, and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting, with floating responsibilities across both Med/Surg and PCU units
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license (no endorsements accepted; must be currently in hand)
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• PCU experience required due to float responsibilities
• Clean license and background — no hits accepted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration
