Description
American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience for a 13-week travel contract in the Seaside, OR area.
Details
- Home health setting serving Seaside, OR and surrounding areas
- 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week (4x10 and 3x12 schedules are not available)
- Up to 6 patient visits per day with a standard productivity expectation of 30 points
- 1:1 patient ratio
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating between like units
- Charting is done via Epic Remote Client (laptop) and Rover (phone app); Oasis is also used
- Daily drive radius may occasionally reach up to 60 miles, with total drive time up to 90 minutes per day; scheduling is organized to minimize windshield time
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates within a 50–75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same rate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health PT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Oasis experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Active PT license required if applicable; pending license may be accepted
- Primary COVID-19 vaccination series plus one booster required
- Must have personal, reliable transportation
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- 13-week contract
- Open to first-time travelers
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be located within 50 miles of the submitting facility
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- RTO is minimal; a few days may be approved, but significant RTO requests may impact the hiring process — confirm details with the hiring manager
- Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed (no specific color) but jeans are not permitted
- Parking is free
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
