Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in Pediatrics for an outpatient assignment in Toms River, NJ, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Outpatient pediatric physical therapy setting
- Patient population spans ages 0–21 years
- Schedule: Monday 8:00am–5:30pm, Tuesday 8:00am–4:30pm, Wednesday 8:00am–6:00pm, Thursday 9:00am–6:30pm, Friday 8:00am–12:00pm (5x8-hour day shifts)
- No weekend shifts required
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Active NJ or Compact PT license required; NJ license must be in process at time of consideration if not yet active
- Current BLS certification required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two current professional references required
- Skills checklist specific to the PT Pediatrics unit required
- NURSYS verification and state license documentation required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Any requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to an offer being extended
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
