Description

American Traveler is hiring a dual-modality CT/X-Ray Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and active VA state licensure for a position at an advanced imaging center.

Details

  • Work setting is an advanced imaging center with a secondary float responsibility to other hospital site locations
  • Primary modalities include CT (heads, abdomen, pelvis, angiography, extremities) and routine X-ray exams
  • X-ray volume ranges from 0–15 studies per day, with occasional highs of up to 22 exams
  • EMR is Epic; PACS is Visage; CT unit is Siemens; X-ray unit is Philips
  • Monday–Friday 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • On-call requirement is PRN
  • Holidays are worked into the schedule

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-ray experience preferred
  • Active VA state license required at time of consideration
  • Current AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R certifications required
  • Dual modality proficiency in both CT and X-ray is required
  • Strong IV skills required
  • Experience with Epic EMR and Visage PACS preferred
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Performs CT studies including heads, abdomen, pelvis, angiography, and extremities, as well as routine X-ray exams
  • May float to other hospital site locations as needed to cover open shifts
  • Floor-specific orientation is provided
  • Black scrubs required
