Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 1+ year of outpatient orthopedic experience for a flexible full-time contract at an outpatient clinic in the Avondale/Goodyear, AZ area.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting in the Avondale/Goodyear, AZ area
• Patient population includes adults and adolescents
• Appointments are scheduled every 30 minutes with visits lasting 60+ minutes, with consistent patient overlap
• Physical therapy technicians are utilized to help extend care during busy periods
• Expected caseload of 55–65 visits per week
• Ortho caseload includes a wide range of conditions including ACL tears, rotator cuff repairs, total joint replacement, disc herniation, generalized low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, TMJ dysfunction, and more
• EHR: NextGen
• Flexible full-time schedule available, including potential 4x10 hour shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Current PT license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with case management and caseload building preferred
• Proficiency in fall risk assessments and gross motor assessments
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with overlapping patient visits
• NextGen EHR experience preferred

• Clinic utilizes a team-based model with PT techs supporting care delivery during peak hours
