Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT scan experience for a night shift travel contract, requiring ARRT certification and WV licensure.

Details

• Acute care hospital CT scan unit
• Night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Rotating 36/48 schedule: alternating weeks of 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts (84 hours per two-week pay period)
• Every other weekend required
• Occasional on-call may be required on a sporadic basis
• Float required within scope of practice

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• Active AHA BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; registered CT (ARRT CT) preferred
• Active WV compact or state license required; candidates willing to apply for WV licensure upon offer will be considered, but must apply the day they accept
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid Driver's License with address matching permanent address required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration: at least 1 charge-level or higher and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on a bi-weekly basis
• Travelers who cannot accommodate the 36/48 rotating schedule may be subject to cancellation
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be declared upfront with no changes accepted after submission
• Travelers must be available to work at least one major or minor holiday during the contract
• After working one year within the system, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Any license discrepancies or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
