- Minimum 2 years of high-acuity Med/Surg Tele experience or higher required
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted
Additional Information
- Orientation begins with the first week Mon–Fri on day shift, followed by five bedside orientation shifts across weeks 2 and 3, after which the traveler works independently

- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration and must not exceed 7 days

Pros
Units are nice, staff are kind. Single patient rooms with 4:1 ratios day and night on med surg.
Cons
Scheduled every weekend, floated for the first 6 weeks of contract every shift. Not traveler friendly even though they say they are. Staff are treated well not travelers.
