Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a mobile and clinic-based imaging role in the Oakland/Bay Area.
Details
- Outpatient imaging center and mobile mammography unit setting
- The mobile unit travels throughout the Bay Area and departs/returns from a fixed Oakland location
- Floating required between the breast center and the mobile mammography van
- Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Rotating weekend schedule runs Tuesday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with Monday off
- One Saturday per month (every other weekend rotation)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- California Radiologic Technology (CRT) license required
- California State Mammography Licensure (Certified Radiologic Technologist issued by the CA Department of Health Services) required — license required if applicable
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography at both a fixed breast center location and aboard a mobile mammography van serving the greater Bay Area
- Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
