Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.

Details

• Work in the RRT Pediatrics unit at a children's hospital
• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Weekend shifts as needed
• Weekend block scheduling may be considered

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Pediatric respiratory therapy experience required
• RRT certification required; CRT not accepted
• TN license required if applicable
• Must be in compliance with NLC guidelines
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application, as RTO submitted after an offer will not be honored
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays
• If only 2 of these holidays fall during the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2
• Vaccination status required for consideration
