Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.
Details
- Work in the RRT Pediatrics unit at a children's hospital
- Level I Pediatric Trauma Center setting
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Weekend shifts as needed
- Weekend block scheduling may be considered
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3+ years preferred
- Pediatric respiratory therapy experience required
- RRT certification required; CRT not accepted
- TN license required if applicable
- Must be in compliance with NLC guidelines
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
- Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application, as RTO submitted after an offer will not be honored
- If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays
- If only 2 of these holidays fall during the assignment, must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2
- Vaccination status required for consideration
