Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital.

- Children's hospital setting at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- Pediatric respiratory therapy unit
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Weekend work required as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RRT credential required; CRT not accepted
- Active TN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)-compliant license required; no pending licensure accepted; license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Pediatric setting experience required
- At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will not be forwarded to the facility for approval
- If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Year's fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of 3 holidays (or 1 of 2 if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment)
- Former permanent employees or internal associates must have been separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Vaccination status must be included with your profile submission
