Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with multi-specialty circulating experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract in Tennessee.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Circulating RN role covering a wide range of surgical specialties including endovascular, general, orthopedic, neuro, GYN, urology, and robotics (CV Surgery excluded)
- Cases range from craniotomies and laparoscopic procedures to endovascular interventions
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM), Monday through Friday
- Weekend shifts and/or call required as needed, approximately 1–2 weekends per month
- Holiday coverage required when needed
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active TN RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
- Experience circulating in all surgical areas required, including endovascular, general, ortho, neuro, GYN, urology, and robotics
- Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required
- Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidate must be prepared to circulate across multiple surgical specialties and case types
- An interview with the clinical team is required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
