Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position in Lufkin, TX, requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience and an active TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting with 60 beds
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Night shift schedule, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (schedule varies)
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- EMR: MEDHOST
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Ortho experience required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Dark navy blue scrubs required
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
