Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
Details
- Large academic hospital setting in Cleveland, OH
- Med/Surg Tele unit with potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
- Day/Night rotating schedule: days run 7:00am–7:30pm and nights run 7:00pm–7:30am
- 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Shift rotation may be adjusted to meet operational needs of the hospital, though preferred shifts will be honored when possible
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience (travel experience accepted)
- Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
- Must be available to work at least every other holiday
- Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before starting a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
