Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Details

• Large academic hospital setting in Cleveland, OH
• Med/Surg Tele unit with potential to float to other units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating schedule: days run 7:00am–7:30pm and nights run 7:00pm–7:30am
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift rotation may be adjusted to meet operational needs of the hospital, though preferred shifts will be honored when possible
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience (travel experience accepted)
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before starting a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
