Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week acute care contract requiring 2+ years of experience, ARRT certification, and proficiency with CT and X-ray imaging in a Radiology department.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a Radiology – CT/X-ray department
- Single CT scanner on-site
- Performs CT and X-ray (XR) studies; average of 5–10 CT scans and 10–20 XR studies per swing shift
- Radiologist is on-site only until 5:00 PM
- Uses GE X-ray equipment and Toshiba CT scanner
- McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR in use
- 8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight)
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
- No floating to other areas required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography required — RT(R)(CT)
- Active BLS certification required
- Active Oregon Medical Imaging license required (if applicable) — pending licenses will not be accepted
- Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required — pending licenses will not be accepted
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Radiation badge preferred but not required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies in an acute care radiology setting
- Orientation includes a department-specific checklist (12 orientation hours)
- Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible — candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
