Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step-Down/PCU position at an acute care hospital, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with night shift availability.

Details

Acute care hospital setting with 255 staffed beds
Step-Down/PCU (Progressive Care Unit) with a diverse adult medical patient population including cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, and pulmonary cases
Patient ratio of 1:5
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:15
Every other Saturday required; Sundays off
Charting via Meditech

Requirements

Active VA or Compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Step-Down or PCU/Telemetry nursing experience required

Additional Information

Responsible for coordination of direct patient care and patient education
Scrub color required: black or Caribbean blue
Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Cons

My phone showed her number as spam and I think blocked some of the texts I wish it hadn't have done that but that was nothing on her end all on mine so make sure that you have your settings to allow the calls and texts from spam
