Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring a permanent MA RN license, 2 years of ED experience, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with a psychiatric holding area on the unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Floating required between two campuses (Leominster and Clinton)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Scheduling is based on unit needs; block schedules cannot be accommodated
• Flexibility required to start up to 4 hours before or after scheduled shift start time based on critical department need
• No on-call requirements
• Charting in Epic

Requirements

• Permanent MA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG test
• Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Active nursing license must be free of prior disciplinary actions
