Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Radiology CT unit, requiring 3-5 years of hospital CT experience and an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiology CT department
- Rotating 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Rotating schedule includes Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Tuesday, Friday
- Epic used for charting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field required; experience cannot be substituted for the degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center
- 2-3 years of experience with advanced CT procedures such as cardiac CT or trauma imaging preferred
- ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications preferred
- BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
- Active MA state Radiologic Technologist license required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging procedures per physician orders, including advanced studies such as cardiac CT and trauma imaging
- Responsible for patient positioning, immobilization, equipment calibration, and radiation safety compliance
- Collaborates with radiologists for accurate image interpretation and follows up on additional imaging requests
- Maintains documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- No validated parking is available at Boston locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 per day; public transportation is recommended
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
