Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine unit performing in vivo nuclear medicine and PET procedures.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine unit
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Board certification required: ARRT(N) or CNMT through NMTCB
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- AA or BS degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited college or university preferred
- Advanced registration in PET is a plus
- Experience at a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) preferred
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active state licensure required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides, including dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals per physician orders under Radiologist supervision
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance procedures in compliance with hospital and NRC requirements
- Responsible for accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS)
