Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Florida, requiring ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications with Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Zephyrhills, FL
• 12-hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to areas appropriate for skillset, including Dade City
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications in hand: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (two doses) or an approved declination

Additional Information

• A mandatory 15-minute pre-shift huddle is required and is clocked-in time
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• A Security ID (formatted as: first initial + first 3 letters of last name + 2-digit birth month + 2-digit birthday, e.g., jsmi0101) is required for consideration
• A copy of your COVID vaccination card is required for consideration
