Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a weekend overnight travel contract at a Level III trauma center in Sierra Vista, AZ.

Details

• Work in the CT/X-Ray department of a 120-bed Level III trauma hospital located in southeastern Arizona
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Common diagnoses and cases include PE, GI bleed, CVA, and trauma
• Equipment includes GE Revolution Maxima 128-Slice CT, GE X-Ray, and GE Portable
• EMR system is Cerner with Optum PACS
• Weekend overnight shifts: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hours/week)
• No call or float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-Ray experience
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• AZDHS (Arizona Department of Health Services) licensure required; license required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• Associate's degree from an accredited Radiology program required
• Proficiency with CT scanning, X-Ray, and general computer systems
• Must be able to work with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• AHA certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging for a wide range of diagnoses including PE, GI bleed, CVA, and trauma cases
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Scrubs in any color are acceptable; acrylic nails, baseball hats, and t-shirts (except on Fridays) are not permitted
• 13-week contract
