Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, open to first-time travelers.

Details

• Work in a cardiac cath lab setting at an acute care hospital
• Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, rotablader atherectomy, IABP placement/removal, and cardiac implant closure device and stent placement
• Adult patient population
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements apply
• Epic EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required
• ARRT (R) required; ARRT preferred, but RCIS will be considered for candidates who do not hold both credentials
• Current ACLS and BLS required
• Proficiency in scrub procedures, sterile technique, sterile field maintenance, equipment setup, and room circulator duties
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• Note: Due to on-call scheduling impact, only one RCIS-credentialed traveler is accepted at a time
