Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring at least 1 year of experience, AHA certifications, and a TN or Compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital ICU setting with possible floating to PCU and some MS coverage as needed
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36-hour weekly work commitment
- 4 weekend shifts required per schedule period
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside regular patient care duties
- Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
