Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Riverhead, NY, requiring procedural lab experience, on-call availability, and a NY RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting in Riverhead, NY
• Shift hours: 6:30 AM – 7:15 PM with weekend and holiday rotation
• On-call required: weekday on-call hours are 7:15 PM – 6:30 AM; weekend on-call is 24 hours (6:30 AM – 6:30 AM)
• Anticipated on-call need is approximately 6–8 call shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Must be able to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• Timekeeping system: Kronos

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NY RN license required (completed license application may be accepted in lieu of active license)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (only AHA-issued certifications accepted)
• Procedural lab work experience required
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the past year in the same specialty

• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a reduced rate
• Candidates with prior work history at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location may be subject to an eligibility review process before consideration
• Orientation modules must be completed in Northwell's iLearn platform prior to assignment start
• If any certifications or licenses are expiring during the assignment period, renewal receipts or scheduled course dates should be provided
