Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active NJ or compact RN license, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Neuro ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required between ICU and PCU based on unit needs
• Travelers may be required to float across up to 5 hospital locations within their skillset
• Epic EMR — experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU nursing experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
• Flu vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
• Two current professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a reduced pay rate
• A Dysrhythmia competency test must be passed within 72 hours of contract signing — only 2 attempts are allowed
• The Dysrhythmia test must be completed on a PC; iOS devices are not compatible and will result in a failed attempt
• Failure to pass the Dysrhythmia test within the allotted time or within 2 attempts will result in contract cancellation
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• All RTO (time off) requests must be submitted at time of consideration — RTO requests submitted after will not be honored
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
