Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department night shift contract in Washington State, requiring an active WA or compact RN license and a minimum of 3 years of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting at a community hospital
• Night shift schedule: 1830–0700, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts beyond the standard 36 hours
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Meditech EMR (experience helpful but not required)

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or multistate compact RN license, currently in hand
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Completed 6-hour suicide prevention training (state-required verification)
• Verification of demographics through Nursys required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Strong teamwork skills and solid working knowledge of Emergency Department nursing practice are essential
• All requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract
• Full availability for scheduling is expected throughout the assignment
• Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest
