Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift, weekend-only contract at an acute care hospital in Martinsville, VA, requiring ARRT and CT certification with 1+ year of experience.
Details
- Work in the CT department of a 220-bed full-service acute care hospital
- All patient populations served, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric
- GE CT equipment in use
- EMR systems include Meditech and Merge PACS
- Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- No call requirements
- No float requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience required
- ARRT and CT certification required
- AHA certifications required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Additional Information
- Facility is accredited by the ACC for Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure, by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer, and is a member of the Duke Heart Network and Duke Telestroke Network
- Candidates must consent to random on-site drug screening and complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form
- Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- All required certifications must be obtained prior to start
- Orientation is held bi-weekly on Tuesdays
