Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift contract in a Long-Term Care/SNF setting, primarily serving a dementia patient population in Minnesota.

Details

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 43 beds across 2 floors
• Patient population consists primarily of dementia residents
• Patient ratios vary by unit/floor
• EMR system: MatrixCare/Matrix, supplemented by paper flowsheets
• Night shift position: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Shift lengths of 8 or 12 hours available, with 8-hour shifts being primary
• Alternating schedule of 44 hours one week and 36 hours the next (80 hours per pay period)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Minnesota (MN) RN license required — pending licensure will not be accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required — no exceptions
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and are eligible at a local pay rate
• 13-week contract in a post-acute care environment
• No BSN required for this position
