Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract requiring Da Vinci robotic surgery experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

  • Day shift position working 10-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
  • Scheduled days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • On-call responsibilities on Fridays, alternating between 1st and 2nd call
  • One weekend call shift required every 5–6 weeks

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required, must be unrestricted
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all from the American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
  • Da Vinci robotic surgical system experience required
  • Must have worked in the OR specialty within the last 3 months
  • 2 supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
  • Candidates must have no prior adverse actions on their nursing license

Additional Information

  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days for the duration of the contract
  • A specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
