Description
American Traveler is seeking a Float Nurse for an outpatient clinics position in Colorado, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience across multiple specialty clinic environments.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting with rotation across multiple specialty departments including Cardiology, Endocrinology, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pain, Primary Care, Rheumatology, After-Hours Care, and Snowmass Clinic
- Float position requiring flexibility to work across all outpatient clinic locations
- Day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required; 2+ years of PCU/ICU/CCU or ED experience preferred
- Ability to safely work at high altitude (approximately 8,000 ft elevation) required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Serves as the primary nurse working under minimal supervision across a broad range of outpatient specialty clinics
- Must remain flexible and adaptable to float between all clinic locations as needed
- No RTO (time off) requests will be accepted for this assignment
- Housing is the responsibility of the traveler — the Aspen area is notably expensive; surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs are recommended as more affordable alternatives
