Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract at an acute care teaching hospital, requiring NRP certification and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.

Details

• Level III NICU in an acute care, adult teaching hospital with 370 staffed beds
• Patient population includes neonates 22+ weeks gestation; no surgeries or ECMO performed in this unit
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float to an alternate campus location
• Charting via Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending licensure not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue

• Local candidates are accepted, though at a different rate of pay
